Hearing - Prosper Land St Georges Crescent Drummoyne v Canada Bay Council (DA2025/0211)
Dear Residents
We refer to the above proceedings and our previous correspondence.
The Court has granted leave for the applicant to amend the development application. The amended plans and supporting material have been uploaded to Council’s website and can be accessed at the following link: DA2025/0211
If you wish to make a written submission in relation to the amended development application, please send it to us by 29 July 2026. All written submissions will be included in a bundle of material which will become evidence at the hearing.
We also confirm that the matter has been listed for hearing on 19, 20 and 21 August 2026. The hearing will commence on site at 9:00am on 19 August 2026. The site inspection will commence with oral submissions from residents. Following oral submissions, the parties and the Commissioner will take a look around the site. The hearing will then resume at the Land and Environment Court in Sydney. The hearing is open to the public and you may attend in person or via AVL to observe the proceedings if you wish.
There is significant community interest in relation to the development of the site to which this development application relates. Not all persons interested persons will be able to speak at the site inspection. Preference will be given to those people who lodged a written objection to the development application as amended and/or who are directly affected by the proposed development.
To assist us in making arrangements for the hearing, we would appreciate it if you could indicate your interest in observing and/or speaking at the hearing by submitting your expression of interest via the following link: Attendance at Hearing - Prosper Land St George v City of Canada Bay – Fill out form
We will review the expressions of interest and provide further updates to advise which residents will speak at the hearing.
